عسل السدر

The honey the trade kept to itself.

For years we have brought raw sidr honey into Britain by the container and sold it quietly to the trade. Now, for the first time, we are filling jars with our own name on them.

The standard

Bought at source. Sold with our name on it.

01

We are the importer

No middlemen and no mystery. We buy at source, by the container, from harvests we know — the same supply the trade has relied on for years.

02

Raw & unheated

Straight from the comb to the jar. Never pasteurised and never blended, so it arrives exactly as the bees made it.

03

Single origin

One region, one bloom, one harvest per jar. Sidr honey from the sidr tree — not a 'honey blend' from nowhere in particular.

04

Nothing added

No syrups, no additives, no clever tricks. If it is not from the hive, it is not in the jar.

Our story

Built on decades in the trade, not on a marketing deck.

Long before this website existed, our founder was landing containers of fine foods in London and supplying the shops and wholesalers your family already buys from. The trade knew his name. The public never did.

This house is that same supply, opened to your table — the same harvests, the same standards, the same handshake. Just a smaller jar.

Questions, answered

How do I know your sidr honey is genuine?

Because we are the importer. Most sidr honey sold in Britain passes through many hands before it reaches a jar; ours passes through one. We buy directly from harvests we know, every batch is traceable to its region and season, and we are happy to share batch details on request.

What is sidr honey?

A rare, dark honey made by bees that feed on the blossom of the sidr tree (Ziziphus spina-christi), prized across the Muslim world for centuries. A single harvest happens only a few weeks a year, which is why genuine sidr honey is scarce — and why so much of what is sold under the name is not the real thing.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes — wholesale is where we come from. If you run a shop, restaurant or distribution business, get in touch for trade pricing by the case or by the pallet.

How do I order?

The quickest way is WhatsApp — message us on +44 7554 246083 and we will sort you out, whether it is a single jar or a pallet. You can also email sidrhoneyltd@gmail.com, or visit the warehouse at Unit 2D, 10–24 Standard Road, Park Royal, London NW10 6EU.
